Committee Mandate
Preamble
The Gospel, our Church's social justice teachings, the spirit of Vatican II, our congregational constitutions, charism and Mission Statements repeatedly urge us to respond to the needs of the times.
We, the members of the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) Committee are missioned, in the company with others, to challenge and heal the injustices in our Mother Earth, helping to support the rights and dignity of all life upon her.
United in prayerful reflection, we trust that we will become more aware of God's call as we are led to be prophetic and joyful witness with action that nourishes hope and affirms life in all its dimensions.
